Ph.D. in Education Program: Learning, Cognition, Instruction, and Development Concentration with Specialization in Special Education

Ed.M. in Special Education General Studies

Led by expert faculty and informed by research-driven curriculum, the Ed.M. in Special Education program at the GSE provides advanced graduate preparation for both certified special and general education teachers who wish to learn to address the instructional needs of students with mild and moderate cognitive disabilities.

Ed.M. in Special Education with Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification

The Ed.M. in Special Education with Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification program prepares certified educators to become teachers of students with disabilities within an elementary or secondary school setting

Ed.M. in Special Education with Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification and GSE Gifted Education Certificate

This multifaceted Ed.M. in Special Education program provides advanced graduate preparation for certified general education teachers seeking Teacher of Students with Disabilities licensure and the Rutgers Graduate Certificate in Gifted Education.

Ed.M. in Special Education with Certification for Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant

This 36-credit program offered by the GSE prepares practicing teachers to serve as Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultants (LDT-Cs) in public school systems.

Ed.M. in Special Education with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Sequence

The Ed.M. in Special Education with ABA Sequence program provides advanced graduate preparation in special education while enabling students to take the coursework required to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) exam.

5-Year Program with Certification in Special Education (K-12) and Elementary Education (K-6)

This 5-Year program addresses the instructional needs of students with mild and moderate cognitive disabilities and explores foundational topics in elementary education including the principles of classroom learning and organization, evaluation and assessment, literacy development, and educational psychology.

Endorsement Program for Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant Certification

The non-degree Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant Endorsement Program offered at the GSE prepares certified teachers to serve as Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultants (LDT-Cs) in public school systems.

Non-degree Endorsement in Teacher of Students with Disabilities

Led by expert faculty and informed by research-driven curriculum, the non-degree Special Education program at the GSE provides advanced preparation for certified teachers who wish to learn to address the instructional needs of students with mild and moderate cognitive disabilities.
