Reasons to Give

The Graduate School of Education is committed to preparing exemplary school personnel to have a positive impact on the learning outcomes of more than 1.3 million children in more than 600 New Jersey school districts. This is achieved through the guidance of our renowned faculty.

Your support enables us to attract and retain outstanding faculty and students. Our students will become tomorrow’s educators and leaders. From funding research and scholarships to building global relationships, you can make the difference of a lifetime.

Our school addresses the crucial challenges of the 21st century:

  • investing in early childhood education;
  • improving the quality of teachers in the science, technology, engineering, and math fields;
  • enhancing adult and childhood literacy development; and
  • fostering global citizenship and awareness of social justice issues.

In keeping with Rutgers’ mission, we take what we learn through classrooms and lab experiences to the people in New Jersey and beyond. At Rutgers, our goal is to serve as a model for our state, our nation, and the world.
