Administrative Services

The administrative staff of the GSE is here to help you. Through our administrative offices and academic departments, we provide comprehensive services to our students, alumni, faculty and staff, and professional colleagues. The list below can help you to identify the office best suited to assist with your needs.

Academic Departments

Academic matters are administered through the chairs of each of the three academic departments—educational psychology; educational theory, policy and administration; and learning and teaching—as well as the dean’s office. The Office of Academic Services provides additional support for these endeavors.

Centers and Institutes

The GSE’s cutting-edge research and outreach is conducted by our closely affiliated centers and institutes. This work benefits professional educators throughout New Jersey and across the nation.

Office of the Dean

The key goal of the Office of the Dean is to promote and encourage the work of the faculty and staff. The dean’s office also coordinates the activities of all administrative units in the GSE.

Office of Student and Academic Services

The Office of Student and Academic Services serves as students’ primary contact for academic information and assistance.

Office of Development

Working closely with the dean, the Office of Development seeks support for the Graduate School of Education’s programs, students, and faculty research, while also building relationships with alumni and other professionals interested in education.

Office of Administration and Personnel

The Office of Administration and Personnel is the business office of the GSE, providing a broad range of administrative, fiscal, and management support to the dean and faculty.

Office of Information Technology

A broad range of technology services are managed and provided for the school community by the Office of Information Technology. This office is responsible for planning, building, operating, and maintaining the information technology and communications resources on which the work of the GSE depends.

Office of Marketing and Communications

The Office of Marketing and Communications is responsible for promoting the GSE’s programs and accomplishments of faculty, students, alumni, and staff to external and internal audiences.
