The 2015 Students Supporting Students Campaign Kicks Off

This semester the Graduate School of Education (GSE) kicks off the 2015 Students Supporting Students campaign. This year marks the third year of student philanthropy at the school.

Last year, the campaign saw an increase in overall student donors from 2013 and as a result, two students benefited from scholarship awards.

This year’s campaign will feature a student committee that will be tasked with creating awareness about the campaign with their GSE peers. The committee, led by faculty chair Dr. Lesley Morrow, consists of Oliver Hakizimana, Madison Malave, and Meghan King.

Created in 2013, The Students Supporting Students campaign aims to create more financial opportunities for our students and builds the school’s culture of philanthropy by seeking student participation.

The scholarship from the Students Supporting Students campaign can be awarded to a GSE student who will be in residence for next academic school year. The GSE scholarship committee will review applicants and make their decision.

Scholarship awards will be made in late Spring. To apply for any scholarship, please complete the online application by March 1.
