Professional Development

As educators of educators, the GSE and our faculty of lifelong learners are committed to providing continuing education and professional development opportunities for all practicing teachers and education-focused professionals. Through examination of the latest research and best practices in the various sub-fields, our certificate programs help enrolled students continue to meet the needs of the learners they serve and ensure the best learning outcomes for their students.

With a range of special topics to choose from – including Gifted Education, Maker Education, Educational Technology, Adult Education, and Human Resources Development – applicants to a GSE certificate program may dive deeper into a content area they are familiar with or extend their breadth of knowledge into yet-to-be-explored subjects. Through completion of the required courses, they exit the program with new skills to optimize their teaching practice, increased knowledge and industry insight, and a level up on the competition as a prospective candidate in the job market.
