Pick up a Treasure map from one of the GSE exhibits. Visit 3 GSE Exhibits and get your treasure map stamped. Visit the prize table with your stamped GSE Treasure Map to spin the wheel and win a GSE gift!

Fantastical Physics

Ever wonder how to get an egg to squeeze itself into the small opening of a flask? Or wanted to witness the moment of inertia? Join Professor Zisk and physics students and see everyday principles of physics put into action! Watch or participate in experiments and discover the fun and zany world of physics.

Brain Puzzlers

Come stretch your brain and imagination at our Brain Puzzlers tent with activities for all ages. Choose from a variety of quick and fun games including logic problems, finding differences, spatial relations, etc. all challenging you to think in new ways. This booth is proudly presented by the Graduate School of Education Alumni Association. GSE alumni, stop by our booth, reunite, and share a smile! Current GSE graduate students, come meet us and chat – learn what we’re all about! Receive a little giveaway as a memento.

Teacher Appreciation Tent

Join the Rutgers GSE community to celebrate the many ways that teachers impact our lives. Add thank-you notes to the GSE Gratitude Wall to honor your favorite teachers.

Create Your Favorite Teacher with Arts & Crafts

Do you have a favorite teacher (either real or make-believe)? Come join us for some hands on art-making and create your favorite teacher. Use glitter, glue, markers, and more to get creative and let your imagination flow.

Inq-ITS (Inquiry Intelligent tutoring system)

Inq-ITS is an AI-based assessment system designed to support real-time science instruction. Come try your hand at a virtual science lab and see how AI measures you. Perfect for middle or high schoolers who want to try a science lab, or for teachers and arents who are interested in seeing how this technology can benefit learning. Not to worry if science isn’t your thing! Rex, the AI tutor can jump in to help a student while they work.

EpicWin

Try out the latest version of EpicWin, a gamified to do list, on iPads available at our booth and talk about how to make it better!

Thinking and Knowing in Science

GSE students and faculty will present activities and challenges that they have co-developed and used in their educational research to promote better thinking about real-world issues. Visitors can also engage with science simulations that we have developed to support thinking in science.
