In this session, “Community and Consciousness: Rethinking How We Support Educators,” our host, Dr. Nora Hyland, will sit down with Dr. Shanique Lee to discuss how we can better support the mental health and long-term success of teachers working for racial justice.

Dr. Shanique Lee is an Assistant Professor of Urban Education and Urban Teacher Education at the GSE. Her research honors the legacy of Black women educators and focuses on transforming teaching culture to prioritize racial justice and the complete success of marginalized students.
