Ed.M. in Social Studies Education

The Ed.M. in Social Studies Education program at the GSE is designed for certified teachers who seek a more comprehensive, empirically motivated understanding of social studies education.

Post-Baccalaureate Ed.M. with Certification in Social Studies Education

The Ed.M. program with (K-12) teacher certification in social studies education is designed for individuals who possess a bachelor’s degree in a field related to social studies instruction in schools and who do not already possess a New Jersey teaching certificate.

5-Year Program with Certification in Social Studies Education (K-12)

The 5-Year Program with Certification in Social Studies Education (K-12)  is designed for undergraduate students who seek careers in the field of education and more specifically, a comprehensive, empirically motivated understanding of social studies education.

Non-degree Graduate Certificate in Educational Technology

The 9-credit, non-degree graduate certificate in Educational Technology offered at the GSE is designed to prepare educators to effectively integrate current and developing technologies into various learning environments.

Non-degree Bilingual/Bicultural Education Endorsement Program

The non-degree Bilingual/Bicultural endorsement program offered at the GSE provides candidates with a foundational understanding of bilingual education in K-12 settings and associated instructional strategies; of language learning and the processes of second language acquisition; and of the relationships between language and culture.
