Ph.D. in Education Program: Learning, Cognition, Instruction, and Development Concentration with Specialization in Learning Sciences

Students enrolled in this Ph.D. program can expect to exit with the ability to think critically about a wide range of the central theories on learning, conduct high-quality original research, communicate and share research effectively, and teach at the university level.

Ph.D. in Education Program: Learning, Cognition, Instruction, and Development Concentration

The concentration in Learning, Cognition, Instruction, and Development (LCID) within the Ph.D. in Education program prepares students to carry out research on learning and teaching within classrooms and other settings.

Ph.D. Higher Education

The concentration in Learning, Cognition, Instruction, and Development (LCID) within the Ph.D. in Education program prepares students to carry out research on learning and teaching within classrooms and other settings.

Non-degree Graduate Certificate in Maker Education

The 10-credit, non-degree graduate certificate program in Maker Education offered at the GSE is designed to help educators and practitioners receive the education and resources necessary for developing competence and confidence to start, supervise, or use a Makerspace in a school, community center, or other learning space.
