Ph.D. Student Ron Rinehart is Honored with Exclusive Invitations

Ron Rinehart is a learning sciences Ph.D. student invited to participate in two prestigious programs this semester.

Rinehart was one of only twenty-one applicants that were chosen to participate in the American Education Research Association (AERA) Learning and Instruction Division (C) Graduate Student Seminar. The objective of the seminar is to provide graduate students with an opportunity to receive mentoring and advice from current faculty members and to begin developing professional relationships with current and future leaders within the field. The seminar will take place prior to the AERA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia. 

Rinehart was also oneof only fifteen students selected for this year's International Conference of the Learning Sciences (ICLS) Doctoral Consortium. This conference is the flagship event for the world's largest learning sciences organization, the International Society of the Learning Sciences. The Doctoral Consortium in Boulder, Colorado on June 23-24, 2014 will give Rinehart the opportunity to present and discuss his work with experienced mentors in the field and his fellow workshop participants.
