GSE at AERA and NCME Annual Meetings

Members of Rutgers University and the Graduate School of Education (GSE) will be participating in the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME) Annual Meetings this April in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Seventy representatives from Rutgers University including sixty from the GSE will take part in these annual meetings. These conferences allow the research conducted by members of our community to be shared and discussed, contributing to the future of educational research and measurement.

AERA will take place Thursday, April 3 through Monday, April 7 at the Philadelphia Convention Center. This year’s theme “The Power of Education Research for Innovation in Practice and Policy” will explore the changes occurring in educational research.

As part of a leadership initiative, Dr. Firestone and others are hosting the third Policy Makers at the Convention event during AERA in which local policy makers and influencers will join the main Division L session day.

The 76th Annual NCME Meeting will take place Wednesday, April 2 through Sunday, April 6 at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia.

For more information on AERA’s Annual Meeting, please visit the AERA website. For more information on NCME’s Annual Meeting, please visit the NCME website.
