
Ernest Landante, Jr. is a Communications Director for NIEER at Rutgers University.
As the National Institute for Early Education Research’s communications director, Ernest is applying his government, communications, and issue advocacy experience to inform policymakers and reporters about early education and how it leads to positive long-term outcomes for children. His work experience includes the Office of the Governor, New Jersey General Assembly, HealthCare Institute of New Jersey, and New Jersey Department of Children and Families. He previously owned a public relations company and a digital advocacy business. He has earned several awards, including a Pollie Award from the American Association of Political Consultants for his work to reform New Jersey’s auto insurance system.
Ernest enjoys traveling with his family, genealogy, visiting cities and baseball parks around the country, especially when the visiting team is the New York Mets. He earned a bachelor’s degree in management science from Kean University.
