Information Session: Full-Ride Scholarships Available for School Counseling Program
Learn more about the new grant-funded, full-ride, scholarships available for the GSE school counseling program for 2025!
Our School Counseling Program offers a direct route to NJ School Counselor certification. Graduate Students receive training in culturally responsive and evidence based mental health strategies. Through collaboration with our partner districts school counseling developing their skills and gain real-world experience working with diverse students in K-12 NJ schools.
Students enrolled in our program will participate in traditional counseling coursework in addition to innovative and cutting-edge course modules developed by national exports in the areas such as 1) social and emotional learning, racial justice, and healing for culturally and linguistically diverse students, 2) Youth Participatory Action Research in school counseling practice, 3) the creative expressive arts in school counseling practices, and 4) and trauma-informed school counseling.
