Liam Oakes

Liam Oakes is a public relations specialist at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education. He is the secretary of the Public Relations Society of America – New Jersey Chapter, where he was awarded a Pyramid Award for outstanding chapter service in 2023. Liam previously served as the communications manager for the New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education, a nonprofit that partners with schools to end the segregation of students with disabilities. An award-winning practitioner, he centers his work on improving diversity, equity, and inclusion for all, and he strives to make his public relations, graphic design, and social media work accessible to all.
