Interested in working with existing education datasets? This workshop introduces the fundamentals of secondary data analysis and its application to education research. We’ll cover common sampling designs, analytic workflows, and key measurement issues. You’ll also learn where to find high-quality data, how to navigate technical documentation, and see concrete examples of secondary datasets in use. Participants will leave equipped with the knowledge and tools to get started. All levels of experience are welcome!
