NIEER “Hablemos!” Conference – Strengthening Multilingual Learner Practice

Join NIEER‘s 2025 spring conference “Hablemos!” which will discuss “Strengthening Multilingual Learner Practice: Talk, Play, and Reading to Enhance Children’s Development.” Hosted by BELLE, this is an early childhood conference for all educators interested in learning more about biliteracy and bilingualism.

This event will feature keynote speaker Sonia Manzano, best selling author and actress. Sonia will talk about her personal experience as a Nuyorican growing up in a two-language household, and will speak about decisions to use Spanish on the shows Sesame Street and Alma’s Way.
