GSE Participation at Rutgers Day

Rutgers Graduate School of Education (GSE) is hosting three interactive learning programs for children during this year’s Rutgers Day, which will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 10:00am – 4:00pm. Throughout the day families can tell stories with puppets, participate in multi-lingual story telling, and engage in hands-on activities with GSE faculty, staff, and students.

Rutgers Day offers a wide variety of programs across three campuses for attendees to engage with the Rutgers community. Scheduled programs include a parade down College Avenue, the School of Engineering Science Fair on the Busch campus, and a chance to visit the farm animals on the Cook/Douglass campus. Attendees can enjoy outdoor performances stages, hands-on activities, and games for children of all ages.

The GSE’s Rutgers Day programs will be located in Voorhees Mall on the College Avenue Campus near the GSE building. The program details are below:

There will be free parking as well as convenient shuttle buses to travel between campuses. Everyone, whether a current student, an alumni returning with family, a prospective student, an athletic fan excited about the Big Ten, or simply a curious visitor, is welcome to share in Rutgers pride by exploring the university’s research, education, and service.

Rutgers Day is also coinciding with Alumni Weekend for the first time to offer Rutgers graduates the opportunity to connect with old friends and classmates while they are on campus.
