GSE Celebrates Graduates at 2013 Convocation

Sunday marked the University's 247th Anniversary Commencement, and the Graduate School of Education's 10th Convocation.  Thousands of family and friends celebrated the graduates during the University Commencement Ceremony held at High Point Solutions Stadium on the Rutgers–New Brunswick Campus.  The ceremony was marked with an inspiring speech by The Honorable Virginia Long, a former Associate Justice on the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Later in the day, the Graduate School of Education Convocation was held in a packed College Avenue Gym on the College Avenue Campus, recognizing close to 300 graduates.  Additionally the event was highlighted by a speech from College Student Affairs Ed.M. graduate Nina Duong as well as the following special honors paid to Graduate School of Education students, faculty and leaders in the field of education.
