Dr. Gail S. Verona is an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in the Department of Educational Theory, Policy and Administration in the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Her work centers on providing clinical supervision and support for educational administration and supervision programs, including the supervision of principal certification internships, teaching graduate level courses in curriculum and supervision, and providing coordination and support of program activities. Dr. Verona earned her doctoral degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Rutgers University in 2001 and has an extensive background in K-12 leadership and curriculum development. Her administrative positions include Interim Superintendent/Principal of Bradley Beach Public Schools, Superintendent/Principal of Jamesburg Public Schools, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in the Elmwood Park and Old Bridge Township Public School districts, Supervisor of Instruction in the Middlesex County Vocational Technical High School District.
