What is the GSE computer lab?

The Graduate School of Education computer lab is a private facility dedicated to the GSE's unique instructional needs.

The lab is primarily used for GSE courses but is open for GSE student use when not reserved for a class or other event.  The lab has computers running Microsoft Windows, a projector, printer, and scanner.

The lab is sometimes used for special events, so please check the current schedule before dropping by.

The Graduate School of Education's Office of Information Technology designs, operates, and maintains the technology and communications resources used by the school, including the lab.  Our team works hard to keep the lab in good shape for everyone, so we ask all lab visitors to help with a few commonsense rules:

  • Help preserve the environment and conserve by printing selectively. Please note that multiple copies and large print jobs are not permitted in our facility.
  • Visitors are responsible for taking trash, unwanted printouts, etc. with them when finished with a workstation.
  • The lab is used regularly for GSE classes.  A 10-15 minute warning is given before a class begins and we expect visitors to leave promptly when asked.

More information is available from the GSE Help Desk, open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (except university holidays):

We welcome questions, suggestions, and feedback.  Stop by or drop us a line.
