Beth A Gardiner

Beth Ann Gardiner is an Early Childhood Education Technical Assistance Specialist for NIEER at Rutgers University.

She works on various projects, with a primary focus on supporting New Jersey state preschool expansion and high-quality preschool program implementation. In this role, Beth utilizes her extensive experience as an early childhood teacher and teacher educator to provide support to program administrators and staff.

Beth has worked extensively managing various early childhood quality initiatives in communities throughout New Jersey, including at the state and county child care resource and referral agency. Most recently, Beth worked at the New Jersey Department of Education, Division of Early Childhood Education, administering the state’s $17 million annual federal Preschool Development Grant.

Beth holds a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from the College of New Jersey and an M.S.Ed in Early Childhood Leadership from Bank Street College.
