Assistant Professor- Reading (Early Childhood/Elementary Emphasis)

The position of Assistant Professor of Reading is a nine month, tenure-track faculty position. The College of Education and Health Professions has graduate programs at the masters, specialist, and doctoral levels. The Elementary/Early Childhood program is a vibrant program in which faculty engage in collaborative work within and across programs, departments, and colleges. The program has an established relationship with several area school districts with plans to develop Professional Development Research Schools in the near future.

The successful candidate will be a community role model who fosters an environment of professionalism, scholarship, continuous improvement in Elementary/Early Childhood Education Reading program design and delivery, and collaboration with university faculty and public school personnel. Diversity in faculty and staff in the College of Education and Health Professions is encouraged.
