Universal Institute is seeking a compassionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for providing behavioral therapy to adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and will be committed to creating a supportive and therapeutic environment. Duties:

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Implement and supervise behavioral interventions, including behavioral therapy and behavioral support.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as occupational therapists and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive care to adults.
  • Provide medical documentation and maintain accurate records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in behavioral health and special education.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm and demonstrate a commitment to creating a positive and supportive environment for adults.

Experience:

  • A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related field is preferred.
  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience working with adults with autism and other developmental disabilities (preferred)
  • Experience with behavioral therapy and behavioral support.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and a commitment to maintaining accurate and confidential records.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and regulations. – Experience working with individuals with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

Job Type:

  • Full-time Pay: starting from $90,000.00 per year
