GSA is looking for a new Business Manager

The Business Manager is in charge of the daily financial transactions of the GSA.  He or she works with the Treasurer to ensure the financial stability of the association.


Primary Duties

  • Process all PERs and IERs
  • Pay for all bills
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Hold regular office hours
  • Pick up and sort mail
  • Process payroll time sheets
  • Promptly answer all emails directed to help@gsa.rutgers.edu
Secondary Duties
  • Conduct funding instructional meetings for GSOs
  • Order all supplies for the GSA offices and GSL
  • Meet regularly with Dean Bender and Treasurer regarding GSA finances
 
Requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High level of self-motivation and organization
  • Excellent communication skills (in person, via email, and on the phone)
  • Commitment to, and comfort with, upholding GSA policies and procedures
 
Preference is given to graduate students without funding, and those who can serve in the position for a minimum of 2 years.
 

Hours: 12 - 15 hours per week

Pay: $20/hour
