Data Collector

The National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) is looking to hire data collectors to train to administer classroom observation instruments in pre-K classrooms in NJ.
 Applicants should be graduate students, have a BA, or be upperclassman 
 Knowledge about child development and developmentally appropriate early 
undergraduate students with a focus on child development, early childhood, 
psychology or related field 
 Excellent academic record (GPA of 3.0 or better) is expected
 Experience in classroom settings and/or working with children is highly preferred. 
Internship Timeline
April, May and June during regular school hours (8:00 AM-3:00 PM). Training in March-April is required. (Dates TBD)
 Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week 
 Schedules are flexible, though attendance to 2 full days (9-5 pm) mandatory 
 Reliable transportation is necessary. 
 Pay ranges from $85.00-$175.00/day.
