VOICE Charter School is looking for additional faculty to join our teaching team for school year 2014-15!  We are an elementary and middle school located in Long Island City, Queens, currently serving grades K-6 (we will be adding 7th grade next year), that has a strong emphasis on music.

Here at Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School, we have a tenure-track, full-time science position that has just opened.  The position is at the eighth grade level and while this year and next will focus on Earth Science, it will move to an integrated program in September 2015.

Uncommon Schools is a network of high-performing urban public charter schools that operate with the mission of closing the achievement gap and preparing our low-income students to graduate from college. Uncommon is a phenomenal place to work - the people are dedicated, passionate, caring, and collaborative.  I receive tons of professional development, support, and coaching from my schools leaders on a regular basis, and feel like I am always growing and improving in my work.
