Administrative Assistant at La Casa de Don Pedro

Job Summary:
• Under the general direction of the senior management, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to the Fiscal Office team.

Responsibilities Include:
• Performs duties such as typing, filing, scheduling and ordering supplies
• Handles correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information
• Regularly manages internal and external phone calls
• Types and designs general correspondence, memos, spreadsheets, charts, etc.
• Works independently and within a team on projects as required
• Administers and observes the organizations office operations, policies and procedures
• Volunteerism is encouraged during La Casa’s sponsored events
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Educational Level, Qualifications, Requirements and *Physical Demands:
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with one year of administrative experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be able to type 40 wpm
• Have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize a demanding workload and be able to juggle multiple tasks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong telephone and customer service skills
• Ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Required to sit for long periods of time*
• Professional business attire required
