Photo of Ebelia HernandezBefore beginning her graduate work, Dr. Hernandez worked in student affairs as an academic advisor at UCLA.  She completed her masters in Counseling at Cal State Northridge and moved to the midwest to pursue a doctorate in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Indiana University.

Her research centers on the Latino college student experience utilizing historical research, critical race theory, and student development theory.
