The Office of Continuing Education & Global Programs coordinates both credit and non-credit programs designed to enhance the professional competence of New Jersey educators. Non-credit programs include conferences, workshops, and other professional development activities. Credit-bearing, graduate-level coursework is offered at over 25 locations throughout New Jersey.

In collaboration with other Graduate School of Education departments, the Office of Continuing Education & Global Programs sponsors graduate-level course work at over twenty-five locations throughout New Jersey. These off-campus courses are open to anyone holding a bachelor's degree, wishing to engage in non-degree study, as well as Rutgers degree students. With a few exceptions, students may register for off-campus courses through the Rutgers University Registrar’s online Web Registration system: https://webreg.rutgers.edu/.

Our department sponsors a number of conferences and workshops throughout the year, as well as various off-campus courses to meet the professional development needs of New Jersey's educators and adult students.

Given the importance of nurturing an educational perspective that goes beyond local and national boundaries, the GSE has entered into exchange agreements throughout the world. These agreements facilitate significant academic contact between GSE faculty and faculty and students from universities abroad. They provide the framework for essential cooperation and joint ventures in research, instructional collaboration, cultural exchange, and co-development and implementation of bi-national Research and Development projects. Please see 'Global Programs' for more information.
